What the bonus is worth
Est. $1,000+ value
100,000 miles × 1¢
At least $1,000 at Capital One's own rate of 1¢ per mile, the floor you can count on. Booking travel or moving miles to partners can stretch them further: points sites put them at up to 1.7¢ each.
Based on Capital One's own example value of about 1¢ per mile; transfers can be worth more.
"You could earn 52,800 miles per year, a $528 value."
What points sites say: 1¢ to 1.7¢ per mile

Biggest catches
- One Capital One business bonus, roughly. Capital One says business bonuses may not be available to anyone who holds or has held any Capital One business card. If you already earned a Spark or Venture Business bonus, assume this one may not pay. capitalone.com
- No first-year fee waiver. Unlike the old Spark Miles, the $95 fee is charged in year one. The two $50 credits are what offset it. doctorofcredit.com (third-party)
- This business card shows up on your personal credit report. Doctor of Credit reports that most Capital One business cards report to the personal bureaus; only Spark Cash Plus and Venture X Business don't. The balance on this card can raise your personal utilization. doctorofcredit.com (third-party)
- Every application pulls all three bureaus. Capital One pulls Experian, Equifax and TransUnion for each application, so one application costs an inquiry on every report. Plan it around other applications that are sensitive to inquiries. doctorofcredit.com (third-party)
- One Capital One card per six months. Data points collected by Doctor of Credit show Capital One approving only one new card per six months. A second Capital One application soon after this one is likely to be denied. doctorofcredit.com (third-party)

YMMV: approval and bonus eligibility are the issuer's decision.
Sensei's move
Use the business miles for personal travel
Move miles from this card into a personal Venture-family account, or share them with another Venture or Spark cardmember by calling Capital One. Venture Business miles are listed as transfer-eligible, so they reach partners either way.

Transfer to airline and hotel partners
Venture-family miles transfer to 15+ partners, most airlines at 1:1, which is where they beat the 1-cent travel eraser. Watch the exceptions on Capital One's own list: Emirates, EVA and JAL are 2:1.5, JetBlue 5:3 and Accor 2:1. Transfers are one-way.

Sensei's take
100,000 miles for $10,000 on a $95 fee is a strong business churn, but it probably uses up your one Capital One business bonus, so pick it over Spark Cash Plus only if you want miles. The $50 software and $50 travel credits cover the fee if your business uses both, which makes keeping it beyond year one reasonable. It reports to your personal credit, unlike Spark Cash Plus. For travel it's a 2X transferable earner without lounge access.
