Biggest catches

  • Rewards can't leave this card. TPG says Ink Premier points can't be moved to other Ultimate Rewards accounts, so they never become transferable and are worth 1 cent as cash back. Points can come in from other Chase cards, but not go out. thepointsguy.com (third-party)
  • Most of the balance must be paid in full. The card splits your balance: the Pay In Full portion is due every month, and only purchases moved to Flex for Business can be carried with interest. creditcards.chase.com
  • One bonus per card, ever. Chase says the bonus may not be available if you have ever had this card. Plan on one shot at the $1,000. creditcards.chase.com
  • Chase 5/24 and the reported sole-prop 3/24. Doctor of Credit says Chase business cards reportedly don't add to your 5/24 count, but personal-card velocity can still block approval, and since September 2026 there are unconfirmed reports of a 3/24 limit for sole proprietors. doctorofcredit.com (third-party)
  • Cash-like spend doesn't count toward the $10,000. Balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers, gambling and fees aren't purchases. Chase doesn't name gift cards for the bonus, so their status is unconfirmed. creditcards.chase.com

YMMV: approval and bonus eligibility are the issuer's decision.

Sensei's move

  1. Big single purchases at 2.5%

The card pays 2.5% on every purchase of $5,000 or more and 2% on everything else, uncapped. A business with large invoices (inventory, equipment, contractors that take cards) earns more here than on a 1.5% Ink Unlimited, at the cost of the $195 fee.

  2. It sits outside the no-fee Ink family

Chase's no-fee Ink bonus language covers business cards without an annual fee; the Premier has a $195 fee and its own 'ever had this card' rule, so holding an Ink Cash or Unlimited doesn't by that wording block this bonus.

Sensei's take

  • Fair churn
  • Keep one year
  • Not for your travel wallet

$1,000 cash for $10,000 in three months is a decent business bonus after the $195 fee, but the spend is steep and Chase treats it as once per card. It has no statement credits, and its rewards can't join the Ultimate Rewards trifecta, so there's no transfer upside. Keep it past year one only if you regularly make $5,000+ purchases where 2.5% beats your other cards; otherwise it's a one-year cash churn. Not a travel card.

How today's offer compares

Today
$1,000
Highest in 3 years
$1,000
$10,000 spend in 3 months

Today's offer matches the highest public offer for this card in the last 3 years.

Public offers anyone could apply for since Oct 2023, from the bonus-history sources we checked. Whether the first-year fee was waived isn't counted. A targeted or referral offer went higher, to $1,500 (Oct 2023), but not everyone could get it.
