What the bonus is worth

Est. $2,000+ value

200,000 points × 1¢

At least $2,000 at Chase's own rate of 1¢ per point, the floor you can count on. Booking travel or moving points to partners can stretch them further: points sites put them at up to 1.8¢ each.

Based on Chase's 1¢ per point cash-back rate; this card has no Points Boost multiplier named on Chase's page.

"If you're interested in cash back, each point is worth 1 cent when redeemed."
What points sites say: 1¢ to 1.8¢ per point

Third-party valuations: what points sites estimate points are worth on average, not a cash value or an issuer promise. Your value depends on how you redeem.

Estimate as of Oct 17, 2026.

Biggest catches

  • Chase 5/24 still gates business cards. Doctor of Credit reports Chase business cards also require you to be under 5/24 to be approved, even though they don't add to your count. Plan the Ink or Reserve for Business before your personal-card slots run out. doctorofcredit.com (third-party)
  • Reported 3/24 for sole proprietors. Since September 2026 Doctor of Credit has collected reports of sole-proprietor applicants with three or more new accounts in 24 months being denied for Chase business cards. It is a small, unconfirmed sample, so treat it as a warning, not a rule. doctorofcredit.com (third-party)
  • One bonus per card, plus business factors. Chase says the bonus may not be available if you have ever had this card, and it may weigh factors about your business. A thin or brand-new business can be approved without the bonus. creditcards.chase.com
  • Cash-like spend doesn't count toward the bonus. Money orders, wire transfers, crypto, person-to-person payments, betting and fees (including the annual fee) are excluded from bonus spend. Chase's list doesn't name gift cards, but 'not limited to' leaves it room to exclude similar transactions. creditcards.chase.com
  • Bonus posts weeks later. Even after you hit the $30,000, Chase says to allow 6 to 8 weeks for the points to post. Don't close or downgrade anything in the meantime. creditcards.chase.com
  • Employees don't get lounges. Employee cards are free, but Sapphire Lounge and Priority Pass access stays with the primary cardmember only. creditcards.chase.com
  • Priority Pass wants a physical or digital PP card. Showing the credit card in Apple or Google Wallet won't get you into a Priority Pass lounge. creditcards.chase.com
  • 3x ad spend gets a cap on November 15, 2026. Social and search advertising earns 3x without limit until 11/14/26; after that only the first $1,000,000 per anniversary year earns 3x. creditcards.chase.com

YMMV: approval and bonus eligibility are the issuer's decision.

Sensei's move

  1. Move business points to your personal cards

Ultimate Rewards from Chase business cards can go to cards in your own name and, for Ink and business cards, to another owner of the business. That lets you earn the 200,000-point bonus here and redeem or transfer from whichever Reserve you prefer.

  2. Keep Hyatt at 1:1

Since October 1, 2026 Sapphire Preferred and Ink Business Preferred transfer to Hyatt at 4:3, but Reserve and Reserve for Business stay 1:1. Pool Ink points into this card before transferring to Hyatt.

  3. Points Boost at up to 2 cents

The fixed 1.5-cent Chase Travel rate ended for new points in 2025 (points earned through October 25, 2025 keep it until October 26, 2027). Points Boost on select flights and hotels now pays up to 2 cents per point on this card, the same top rate as the personal Reserve.

Sensei's take

  • Strong churn
  • Keep one year
  • Travel wallet: maybe

200,000 points is one of the largest Chase bonuses, but $30,000 in six months is real business spend and you get one shot per card. The easy credits (travel $300, Google Workspace $200, DashPass and DoorDash) offset much of the $795 fee only if your business already pays for Workspace. ZipRecruiter, The Edit and the $120,000-spend perks are hard to cash for most. If you already hold a personal Reserve, this card duplicates its lounges and 1:1 Hyatt, so take the bonus, move the points, and reassess at the first renewal.
