What the bonus is worth
Est. $600+ value
60,000 points × 1¢
Wells Fargo Rewards points have no fixed cash rate, so the floor is the low end of what points sites say they're worth: $600 at 1¢ per point. Good redemptions reach 1.5¢ per point.
What points sites say: 1¢ to 1.5¢ per point
Third-party valuations: what points sites estimate points are worth on average, not a cash value or an issuer promise. Your value depends on how you redeem.

Biggest catches
- One bonus per product every 48 months. Wells Fargo may deny the bonus if you hold this card or opened one in the last 48 months, even if that account is now closed. Count from the open date of your last one, not the close date. creditcards.wellsfargo.com
- The Journey page says 6 months between Wells Fargo cards. The Autograph and Active Cash pages say 4 months, but the Journey page says Wells Fargo may decline you if you opened any Wells Fargo consumer card in the last 6 months. If Journey is next, wait 6 months after your last Wells Fargo card. creditcards.wellsfargo.com
- Cash equivalents don't count toward the $4,000. The bonus counts net purchases, and cash advances and equivalents of any kind, balance transfers, fees and gambling are left out. Returns also come off the total. creditcards.wellsfargo.com
- Cell phone protection needs the bill on this card. The $1,000 phone coverage only applies if you pay your monthly cell phone bill with an eligible Wells Fargo card. Move the bill before you need to claim. creditcards.wellsfargo.com
YMMV: approval and bonus eligibility are the issuer's decision.

Transfer to airlines with no minimum
Journey points transfer to Wells Fargo's travel partners with no minimum balance. NerdWallet (June 2026) lists nine 1:1 airline partners, among them Air France-KLM, Avianca, British Airways, JetBlue and Virgin Atlantic, plus Choice and Wyndham at 1:2. Topping up an award with a small transfer is easy.

Turn Active Cash 2% into transferable points with an Autograph card
If you also hold an Autograph or Autograph Journey card, you can convert Active Cash cash rewards into Wells Fargo points and send them to the airline and hotel transfer partners. That makes the no-fee Active Cash a 2x-transferable everyday card. NerdWallet's June 2026 list has nine 1:1 airlines (including Air France-KLM, British Airways, JetBlue and Virgin Atlantic) and Choice and Wyndham at 1:2. We found no cut to this conversion as of today.

Pool rewards across Wells Fargo cards and people
Wells Fargo Rewards from several cards, business and consumer, can be combined into one account, and rewards can be gifted to another Wells Fargo customer with a rewards card. Use it to gather points on whichever card opens transfers before you redeem, and to empty a card before you close it.

Sensei's take
It is a fair churn: a mid-size bonus for $4,000 of spend, and the $50 airline credit takes half of the $95 fee off right away. After year one, keep it only if you use the transfer partners or the $1,000 phone coverage. Otherwise a no-fee Autograph keeps transfers open for free, and you can product change, although a switch earns no new bonus. Re-earning the bonus means waiting 48 months, so it is a once-in-a-while play.
