How to get it
- Submit a Basic Business Checking application with promo code START200 by 11:59 pm PT on Jan 31, 2027.
- Fund the account within 60 days of approval to avoid automatic closure.
- Keep an average daily balance of at least $3,000 in a statement cycle to earn $50 for that cycle.
- Earn $50 in any four of the first five statement cycles, up to $200.
- Each $50 posts within 10 business days after the qualifying cycle ends.
What it means for churners
- Only new businesses qualify, so most established owners can't use it.
- A $3,000 average balance for four cycles is a low bar for $200.
Fine print
- Only for new Axos Small Business customers whose business was established less than one calendar year before applying, and who have never been primary owner of an Axos Small Business account.
- Keep the account open 180 days or an early closure fee of up to $200 may apply.
- Can't be combined with other new Axos Small Business account bonus offers unless that offer says so.
- The account must be open and in good standing at payout. The incentive may be reported on Form 1099-MISC or 1099-INT.
