Fine print

  • Keep the new money in the account for 12 months after the 60-day funding period. Trading losses don't count against you. Otherwise E*TRADE may take the bonus back or debit it.
  • Withdrawals during the 60-day funding window may lower or cancel the bonus.
  • For new E*TRADE clients opening one eligible account. The original-recipient clause applies, and existing clients or anyone opening several accounts aren't covered here.
  • This offer can't be combined with other offers. Assets that come from Morgan Stanley may be excluded.
  • E*TRADE's page headline says up to $1,500. Its deposit table goes up to $10,000 for $5,000,000 or more. We show the full table.
  • The page gives no time of day or time zone for the Oct 31, 2026 deadline.
  • The research did not establish annual, monthly or transfer-out fee amounts for this account. Treat them as unknown, not $0.
