How to get it
- Open Flagstar Ready Checking or Elite Checking online or at a branch from Flagstar's offer page.
- Receive direct deposits of regular income in each of days 1-30, 31-60 and 61-90: at least $500 per period for Ready, $2,500 for Elite.
- Flagstar says the bonus is paid 91-104 days after account opening.
Fine print
- If any signer was previously paid a Flagstar checking cash bonus, you're ineligible. One per household; can't be combined.
- Flagstar employees aren't eligible.
- Accounts closed within 180 days may incur an early closure fee and the bonus may be taken back.
- Elite has a $15 monthly fee (waived for military/veterans or with $25,000 combined balance); Ready has a $10 fee, reduced or waived with listed options.
