How to get it

  1. Open a Moomoo Financial Inc. brokerage account; you must not have opened one before June 10, 2026 (or opened one but never deposited).
  2. Transfer assets from another brokerage by ACAT or FOP; the transfer must settle by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.
  3. Moomoo matches 3% of the first $1 to $20,000 of the first transfer as a Cash Coupon.
  4. Keep the transferred assets in the account; 25% of the coupon unlocks on Day 90, 180, 270 and 360 after the transfer settles.

What it means for churners

  • A 360-day unlock for a coupon usable only for stock purchases makes this weaker than a cash transfer bonus.

Fine print

  • The match is a Cash Coupon, not cash. It can only be used in the moomoo app for eligible equity purchases and is valid for 6 months from each unlock date.
  • If you withdraw the funds during the unlocking period, unlocking fails. Trading the transferred assets is allowed.
  • Bonds, mutual funds, pink sheet/OTC stocks and options expiring within 7 days can't be transferred. ETFs must have a market value above $300 million and a price of at least $5.
  • The page says the coupon is credited within 5 business days after the transfer settles, while it unlocks in four installments.
  • The page doesn't state a dollar maximum; 3% of $20,000 is $600.
  • US residents 18+ with a valid SSN. Existing customers with prior deposits don't qualify.
