What it means for churners
- The $400 tier needs only a $2,000 average balance, but 10 transactions a cycle for three cycles takes planning.
- PNC operates in a limited footprint; check that you can open an account.
Fine print
- Only for businesses with annual revenue under $10 million. Only accounts with monthly statement cycles qualify.
- Not eligible if any signer has signing authority on an existing PNC business checking account, closed an account in the past 90 days, or was paid a promotional premium in the past 12 months.

- Established, converted or repurposed PNC accounts don't qualify. For the $1,000 offer, only master accounts count toward the balance.
- Qualifying transactions include ACH, wire or Zelle debits or credits, PNC business debit card purchases, remote deposits, checks and PNC Online Banking or Bill Pay payments.
- Monthly fees: Business Checking $12, Plus $22, Treasury Enterprise Plan $50 (each $0 with qualifying activity); Analysis Business Checking $25, which an earnings credit can offset.
- The page's FAQ says to open by Sep 30, 2026, but its offer terms say Oct 1 to Dec 31, 2026. The page doesn't list eligible states.
