How to get it · 2 steps
- Open the My Verizon app, sign in, and tap Me, then Shine (Verizon's free rewards program). You need postpaid service (a monthly bill, not prepaid).
- At 3 p.m. ET (noon PT) on Fri Oct 30, open Shine's Daily Drops and claim the movie. Supplies are limited, so be there right at the start.

Fine print
- Verizon's terms say Daily Drops are first come, first served and quantities are limited. Verizon can swap a drop for an item of similar or greater value.
- Who can claim: Shine's terms list U.S. customers (not U.S. territories) with postpaid phone or tablet, or Verizon home internet, in good standing. Prepaid lines and lines for kids under 18 don't count. A Verizon guide says you must enroll and keep an Unlimited plan; the terms require neither.
- Verizon's own pages don't list the Oct 30 drop. The Freebie Guy and SwagGrabber call it a free Halloween movie. Hunt4Freebies says it's one Movies Anywhere digital credit, with 12 movies to pick from. SwagGrabber and Hunt4Freebies give the 3 p.m. ET time.
- Movies Anywhere is a free service that keeps digital movies you own in one library across apps. The sources don't say which 12 movies, when the credit expires or whether there's a per-person limit.
