Affected cards
What it means for churners
- If you hold the card, add it to inKind now: the first $100 must be used by Dec 31, 2026.
- It's worth up to $200 a year against the $695 annual fee, but only at inKind restaurants and not on tips. Check the app for places near you before counting it.
Fine print
- Citi's card pages don't list the credit yet (checked Oct 25, 2026). Citi confirmed it to The Points Guy and View from the Wing on Oct 25.
- The credit doesn't cover tips, fees or service charges. Those, and any bill above the credit, go to the card on file.
- One credit per account: the primary cardholder and authorized users share the same $200.
- Unused credit stays available for another check until it resets at the end of June and the end of December.
- It can't be combined with inKind Cash on the same check. Spending beyond the credit can still earn inKind's own cash back.
- Citi told The Points Guy the credit is a permanent part of the card, not a limited-time promotion.
