  1. Check that the Cathay award you want has space before you transfer.

  3. Pick Cathay Pacific Asia Miles and transfer at least 1,000 points by Nov 14, 2026.

What changed

  • Before1,000 ThankYou points = 1,000 Asia Miles on annual-fee cards, 700 on no-fee cards
    NowTransfers from Oct 25 to Nov 14, 2026: 1,000 points = 1,100 Asia Miles on annual-fee cards, 770 on no-fee cards

Affected cards

These include, but aren't limited to:

  • Citi Strata Elite
  • Citi Strata Premier
  • Citi Prestige
  • AT&T Access More
  • Citi Strata
  • Citi Double Cash
  • Citi Custom Cash

What it means for churners

  • Only worth it if you have a Cathay award to book now: 50,000 points become 55,000 Asia Miles instead of 50,000.
  • Move points from an annual-fee card if you can. No-fee ThankYou cards transfer at a lower ratio, about 770 Asia Miles per 1,000 points even with the bonus.

Fine print

  • Annual-fee cards (Citi Strata Elite, Citi Strata Premier, Citi Prestige and AT&T Access More): 1,000 points = 1,100 Asia Miles. No-fee ThankYou cards (Citi Strata, Double Cash, Custom Cash and others): 1,000 points = 770 Asia Miles, per LoyaltyLobby.
  • Citi's offer page needs a ThankYou sign-in, so the terms come from Doctor of Credit and LoyaltyLobby (both Oct 25, 2026). Neither mentions a cap or a sign-up step.
  • Citi's minimum transfer is 1,000 points.
  • Miles are not cash; their value depends on how you redeem them.
