OnePay is a free banking app with its own debit cards. Turn on a gas offer in the app, then pay with a OnePay card on a Wednesday.

How to get it

  1. Open a free OnePay account and get its debit card (or the Builder Card).
  2. In the app, turn on a gas offer for a station it lists.
  3. Fill up on a Wednesday and pay with your OnePay card. Wednesday runs on Pacific time, so midnight to 3 a.m. ET Wednesday doesn't count.

Fine print

  • The $1 replaces the gas offer's own cash back; it doesn't add to it.
  • Paid as OnePay Points, which you can deposit into your OnePay account once you have 25. OnePay's page doesn't say what a point is worth.
  • Caps depend on the gas offer; Doctor of Credit reports up to 50 gallons and two uses a day.
  • Not with the OnePay CashRewards Card or other cards in the OnePay Wallet.
  • Gas offers aren't available in New Jersey or Wisconsin. OnePay can change or end this at any time.
