Capital One: 30% bonus on transfers to Virgin Red through Nov 20

Through Nov 20, 2026, 1,000 Capital One miles become 1,300 Virgin points instead of 1,000. Virgin Red is Virgin's rewards club, and its points also book Virgin Atlantic flights.

How to get it

  1. Before you transfer, check that the flight you want has a seat you can book with Virgin points. Capital One can't move miles back once a transfer is done.
  2. Sign in to your Capital One account or app and open the rewards section.
  3. Choose Virgin Red and transfer at least 1,000 miles. The name on both accounts must match. Thrifty Traveler says the offer ends at 11:59 pm ET on Nov 20.

  • Only worth it if you have a Virgin award to book now: 50,000 miles become 65,000 Virgin points instead of 50,000.
  • Nothing to book yet? Doctor of Credit says this bonus comes about once a year, and warns that award prices can go up at any time.

Fine print

  • Capital One's public transfer guide lists Virgin Red as a 1:1 partner but doesn't mention the bonus, so the dates come from Doctor of Credit, Frequent Miler, One Mile at a Time and Thrifty Traveler (Oct 21 to Nov 20, 2026). One Mile at a Time says there's no sign-up and no cap.
  • Miles and points are not cash; their value depends on how you redeem them.
